I got my first job in accounting as 'Accounts Assistant' at Crane Electronics last summer. I've loved working here and always known I've wanted to progress. The Accounts Manager recommended to study AAT.
When I’ve learnt the material, I use the AAT website for past exam papers, brush up on any weaknesses and then book in the exam with a local AAT exam centre. The student portal was initially hard to navigate but I have since become accustomed.
She’s even replied to one of my questions on a Sunday evening and marked a paper I handed in with less than 24 hours before my exam, and still managed to get it back to me with time to go through it. Whilst there is no face to face learning I feel the extra on hand support by Shelley has more than made up for this. I would recommend to all students and future students of ICS Learn to make sure they take full advantage of their tutor.
I started studying with ICS Learn last summer and have since passed AAT level 2, and 4/6 exams for AAT level 3. While studying I have found parts of accounting I want to pursue and study further beyond AAT.
