Elizabeth wanted to get started in her marketing career and chose to study her online CIM Level 3 Certificate followed by her CIM Level 4 Certificate. Find out more about her learning journey with us below.
I'm currently a Trainee Media & Communications Officer at the Severn Academies Educational Trust (SAET).
Entering the Marketing industry with no prior experience, I researched different courses available to me on the internet and decided the courses and qualifications created by the Chartered Institue of Marketing were the perfect courses to complete as my first steps into the industry.
From here, I proceeded to research different providers of the course and came across ICS Learn.

Online learning allows me the flexibility to learn and work at the same time and due to this advantage, it has created many work opportunities for me.
My Level 3 course gave me a boost in my career progression and so far, I have been promoted from the Social Media & Digital Marketing Apprentice of Baxter College, to the Digital Marketing & Media Assistant of Baxter College and now the Trainee Media & Communications Officer of SAET, who governs Baxter College.
Alongside this, the knowledge I have gained has unlocked the opportunity to complete freelance work for local businesses in my area.
