CIPD Level 7 qualifications are best suited to those who are ready to take on postgraduate-level study and who have either significant HR/L&D experience or an HR degree.
They're perfect if you’re already working in or are looking to move into a high-level role where you will have responsibility for designing and implementing HR or L&D strategy and policy.
If this doesn't sound like you, you might be better suited to a Level 3 or Level 5 qualification.
The CIPD Level 3 Foundation Certificate is ideal if you're just starting out and want to master the key operational skills you'll need to excel in entry-level roles.
CIPD Level 5 qualifications are great if you're seeking a mid-level role such as HR Manager L&D Manager or Advisor. They're suited to those who have some experience of HR, whether through working in HR/L&D directly or working in a role which involves aspects of HR/L&D, such as management.
Level 5 qualifications are also a great choice if you haven't worked in HR or L&D before but have a university degree and want to begin learning at a higher level.
