CIPD Student Stories: Rhiannon | CIPD Level 7 Diploma Review

Rhiannon Bennett chose to study her CIPD Level 7 Diploma with us online to further her knowledge and advance her career in the HR industry. 

For me, finishing my degree in Human Resource Management meant moving on to the next challenge and pushing to move up in the world of HR.

Although I was determined to continue studying and achieve my CIPD Level 7 Diploma, I also knew I would need to start building my practical experience in the sector.

After graduation, I successfully secured myself an HR role and began working full time, but I still wanted to study, and so I began looking into how I could make this possible.

I had known that online learning was an option, but it had always scared me as I knew it would be a significant test of my self-motivation and work ethic.

It was a shaky start getting myself into a routine with my studying, constantly reminding myself that I could do it.

However, the sense of pride I feel when I submit a paper is what keeps me going and I can’t wait for the feeling I’ll get when I finish my course.

Overall it is the interest I find in my subject, combined with the support that I’ve received and the resources available, that make my experience so enjoyable.

In the future, I hope my qualification will allow me to reach new heights in my career. My goals are to use what I’ve learned effectively in the workplace and to eventually lead my own team through many successes.
